While we can never replace parents, our teachers are committed to modeling positive behaviors that will help children achieve a strong self image and​ contribute to a happy, confident classroom community and a positive outlook on life.

 

Our teachers are trained, experienced professionals who have received certificates and/or degrees from an accredited community college or university, a child development program, and/or have significant experience in the child care field. All staff are trained in First Aid and CPR.  All New Horizon Preschool and Learning Center employees must complete a 40 hour Introductory Child Care Training Course, a 5-hour Early Literacy and Language Development training, as well as 25 hours of annual in-service training. Regardless of previous experience and education, all staff members are required to continue their training in practices and techniques for teachers and caregivers of young children in order to acquire new knowledge and skills.
